Privacy Policy
Last updated 13 October 2026
This policy explains how the Handawaka website (“we”, “us”) handles personal information. Handawaka events are organised by ASDUM Events.
What we collect
- Contact form messages. When you write to us, we receive your name, email address, the optional phone number and subject you give, and your message.
- Technical information. To protect the site from abuse we process your IP address when you make a request. We do not store it in readable form: only a one-way, keyed hash is kept with contact messages and security logs.
We do not sell personal information, we do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and this website does not take ticket bookings or payments.
How we use it
- To read and reply to your message.
- To keep the website secure, for example by limiting repeated or automated submissions.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are deleted automatically one year after they are received, or sooner if you ask us to delete them.
Cookies
The public website does not set cookies. The organisers’ dashboard uses a single essential cookie to keep authorised organisers signed in.
Third-party links
Links to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, X and sponsor websites open those services, which have their own privacy policies. Videos and share buttons on this site are plain links, so these services do not load on our pages until you choose to visit them.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you sent us by writing through the contact page.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
